Prime Minister of Israel from 1974 to 1977 and from 1992 to 1995, when he was felled by an assassin. Color glossy 7 x 9 photo of Rabin in his office, signed in the lower border in blue felt tip, “Y. Rabin”; and a one page TLS, signed “Y. Rabin,” dated November 9, 1994, on Prime Minister letterhead, commenting on his receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. In part, “Peace is not the enterprise of just one person—it is the achievement of many. Our efforts to realize our dream of living in peace is our inheritance to our children, both Palestinian and Israeli … I am hopeful …that our two peoples can overcome the obstacles placed by those who oppose co-existence, and that we will fulfill the ideals embodied in the Nobel prize.” In fine condition, with a bit of light edge wear to letter.
