Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives from 1903 to 1911. Vintage matte-finish 7.5 x 9.5 photo, signed and inscribed on the mount in ink, “To Mr. George M. Duren[?] with my compliments, JG Cannon, June 16–1910.” In very good condition, with toning, light soiling, and scattered spotting to mount (spot touching one word), bend to one corner of mount, and light silvering to perimeter of image.
