Scott Carpenter,” and signed in black ink, “Wally Schirra.” Photo was taken in 1960 at the Western New York ski resort of Holiday Valley, where the astronauts were enjoying a weekend of rest and relaxation. Lightly trimmed edges, slight adhesion trouble to a few strokes of Schirra’s signature and photo affixed to an identical size heavy stock board, otherwise fine condition.
