“I think I ran away from affairs and they have been taking advantage of my absence and piling up without pity”

TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, August 6, 1925. Parrish writes to Mr. Royce. In part: “Indeed I shall try very hard to get up and see the new house next door. I think I ran away from affairs, and they have been taking advantage of my absence and piling up without pity.” Accompanied by a copy of a letter of provenance from the original recipient’s family. In fine condition, with mild even toning and usual mailing folds, one through signature. R&R COA. Featured collection item.
