The face that launched a thousand slips: Freud signs his portrait

Pioneering and influential founder of psychoanalysis (1856–1939). Penetrating artist’s rendition cut from a magazine, 5.5 x 7.25 on a 7 x 9.25 mount, inscribed on the mount in ink (in German) and signed, “Sigm. Freud.” Attractively matted and framed to an overall size of 14.5 x 19.25. In fine condition, with mild rippling, some scattered light soiling and paperclip stain to mount, and a few very subtle and unobtrusive brushes to inscription. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
