Terrific lot of twenty-four vintage fountain pen signatures on off-white 5 x 3 pages, 1920s–1950s. Many bear personal sentiments, quotations, or the date in the signer’s hand. Included: Dore Schary (1953), Harry Sherman (1947), Andre de Toth (1947), Harry Sherman (1941), Darryl F. Zanuck (1940), William H. Price (1939), Arthur Rosson (1939), Cecil B. deMille (three: 1923, 1927, and 1939), Constance [Mrs. Cecil B.] deMille (1939), Samuel Goldwyn (1939), Herbert Brennon (1928), Edwin Carewe (adding his birthdate), Richard A. Rowland, William C. deMille (1923), J. E. Williamson (1925), James Cruze (adding a sketch of a mouse), George Fitzmaurice, Carl Laemmle (1927), Harry Sherman, William Wellman (1928), Erich von Stroheim, and Sam Wood (1923). Small marginal tear to Stroheim, a few brushes, typed collector’s notations (slightly touching writing in a few cases), binding holes at left edge, and small label remnants at edges, otherwise in fine, clean condition.
