Very nice assortment of items sent by Scaled Composites to a young lady working on a SpaceShipOne science project. Lot consists of: a one page flight-flown TLS, signed by Burt Rutan, 8.5 x 11, one page, dated March 14, 2005, flown on SpaceShipOne on October 4, 2004. Rutan thanks the young lady for her interest in the project and accompanied the other information sent; a one-page list of questions sent to Rutan who re-typed the questions with corresponding answers, including composition of White Knight and his next project; three samples of materials used to build SpaceShipOne, PVC foam, Carbon/Graphite epoxy and Fiberglass/Epoxy; a color 10 x 8 composite photo of the SpaceShipOne crew, signed in black felt tip by Rutan; an FDC, 6.5 x 3.75, with a cachet honoring the American flag, signed in felt tip by Rutan, Brian Binnie, Mike Melvill, Pete Siebold and Doug Shane; a die cast model of SpaceShipOne; and a neat package of diagrams and photos about the ship.
