President Madison grants a tract of land to Hugh Anderson of Virginia. Signed at the conclusion by Madison and countersigned by his Secretary of State James Monroe. In very good condition, with scattered soiling (heavier at left edge), trimmed edges, cracked seal, portions of handwritten text light, but legible and Madison’s signature a couple shades lighter than Monroe’s.
