Shopping for office supplies in the Wisconsin wilderness: Taylor orders paper and pens for a court martial at Fort Crawford

Manuscript DS, one page, 7.754 x 9.5, September 7, 1833. A “Requisition for Stationery for a Regt. Court Martial” at Fort Crawford, Michigan Territory (in present-day Wisconsin), the necessary supplies including “1/2 quire letter paper, 1 dozen quills, and 1/2 piece of tape[?]” Taylor, indicating his approval, signs “Z. Taylor, Col. Comd.” In fine condition, with folds, mild toning, and blot to “rank” portion of signature. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
