Document reads, “Received from Bank of America (Per/Pro - Greg Burgin) The sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) in respect of Denver engagement, May 15, 1976.” At the bottom is written, “Check for $10,000 cashed and paid to Marvin Gaye on May 11, 1976 at his home (Hidden Hills).” In fine condition, with staple hole to top left corner.
