Limited edition signed book: Mickey Mouse In Color. Arizona: Another Rainbow Publishing, 1988. Hardcover with dustjacket, 17 x 13, 248 pages, #704/3000. Signed on an ivory limited edition page in black felt tip by Barks and Gottfredson. There is also a 33 1/3 RPM Record inside the back cover. The record contains an interview with both Gottfredson and Barks that was done by Bruce Hamilton in the spring of 1983, and the record is also numbered to match the limited book. While it has all the same contents as the regular edition, this limited edition contains quite a few treasured extras. There are 32 pages of Barks' original sketches for an unproduced feature-length Mickey Mouse cartoon called Northwest Mounted. The book also has a full-length Carl Barks story featuring Mickey Mouse, titled Riddle of the Red Hat. This story originally appeared in Mickey Mouse Four Color #79. There is also an interview with Barks concerning his animation work at Disney. In very fine condition. R&R COA.
