Forming friendships and alliances with Lucky Luciano and Bugsy Siegel, Lansky directed Murder, Inc. Check, 6.5 x 2.75, filled out and signed by Lansky, payable to John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Co. for $349.25, November 6, 1948. In fine condition, with cancellation holes, vertical fold to left edge and light showthrough from stamps on reverse, lightly visible under small portion of signature.
