Best remembered for the role of adventurer/filmmaker Carl Denham in King Kong, a role he repeated in the same-year sequel, The Son of Kong. Vintage matte-finish 7.5 x 9.5 portrait, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Frank, from his friend Bob Armstrong, 1935.” In fine condition, with couple of corner creases, adhesive residue on reverse, neatly trimmed edges.
