Lot of two items includes: Program, 8.5 x 11, six pages, New York Diamond Jubilee for Harry S. Truman, Proceeds Democratic National Committee, signed and inscribed “To Jack de Simone, What a grand dinner! Harry Truman” in black ink beneath a metallic embossed image of Truman on a coin; and, a program, 10 x 12.75, six pages, with a wonderful color portrait of Truman on the front. The program was for the “Seventieth Birthday Dinner Harry S. Truman Benefit, The Harry S. Truman Library,” Saturday, May 8, 1954 at the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria. Signed and inscribed “To Jack De Simone from Harry Truman with thanks for a well done job” in black ink beneath the portrait on the front. In very good to fine condition, with edge wear, toning, corner creases and a vertical bisecting crease to the second program. R&R COA.
