Lovely and uncommon matte-finish 8 x 10 Bachrach photo of a dressed-up Eleanor Roosevelt seated in the White House, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Irene Rachel Crowley with warm regards, Eleanor Roosevelt.” The frame partially visible above Eleanor’s head bears a plaque identifying James Monroe’s White House portrait; on the table, behind Eleanor’s right arm, is a photo of FDR. In fine condition, with a touch of soiling, mild dings, surface impressions, and marginal corner bends, and a few subtle discolorations to emulsion. R&R COA.
