Edison stays on top of things: “No don’t deliver to Johnson but deliver to Treasury...Keep little stock in factory.”

Lot of two Edison items includes: His handwritten reply at the bottom of a letter to him from C.W. Luhr, dated July 14, 1922. In full: “No don’t deliver to Johnson but deliver to Treasury. I will then have Johnson draw weekly what he can do. Check everything so we can check. Keep little stock in factory.” Handwritten beneath the typed “These are diamond points, product of the Diamond Depts (Storage Battery) to drawn from the Treasury by Jewel Dept. (Works) for assembly into arms, at the rate of 200 per day.” Edison has written “How to reproduce to be checked and these. Edison.” Also included, the original, signed transmittal letter from C.W.
