Vintage sepia 4.25 x 6.5 Sarony cabinet photo of Clemens posing in a suit and overcoat, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “Merry Christmas to little Mark from Mark Twain.” Notation to bottom border, in another hand, reads, “Samuel L. Clemens to Mark Twain Glenn (abt. 1889). In fair condition, with several horizontal creases and separations across image and lightly affecting last couple letters of signature, scattered foxing to background and mounting remnants to reverse.
