Longtime Brooklyn Dodger (who began playing back in the “Brooklyn Superbas” days!) inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1959. Lot of three items: vintage fountain pen signature, “Sincerely, Zack D. Wheat,” on an off-white 5.5 x 3.25 card; vintage 7.25 x 3.5 newspaper photo showing an old-timers lineup, signed in black ink, “Zack Wheat”; and a vintage 2.5 x 2.75 magazine photo, signed in black ink, “Zack Wheat.” In fine condition, with expected toning to all three items (subtly irregular on card), bends or light folds to photos, and a few small ink smudges to card, away from signature.
