Vintage sepia 10.5 x 17 C. M. Bell large-format cabinet photo of Cleveland shortly after marrying Grover, signed in fountain pen, as outgoing First Lady, “Frances F. Cleveland, 27 Feb 1889.” Photographer’s information printed on reverse reads, “This photograph, made and published by me, is the first one of Mrs. Cleveland made since her marriage.” In fine condition, with light overall skipping to signature and date, some mild soiling to border and a slightly larger spot to top edge.
