Cartoonist best known for his Prince Valiant. Lot of four original hand-inked Prince Valiant cartoon panels, each approximately 8.5 x 11.5, three from Prince Valiant in the Days of King Arthur from 1942 and one from a 1944 cartoon. Beautifully detailed panels depict Valiant riding through the forest, Valiant sabotaging a drawbridge, Valiant leaping off the draw bridge and one of King Arthur’s knights approaching with a battering ram. One panel is signed in the lower corner by Foster. In fine condition, a few slight mounting remnants to edges. R&R COA.
