Original three quarter-length CDV portrait of Rosecrans in full dress uniform, striking a Napoleonic pose, 2.5 x 4, published by E. Anthony of New York from an original photographic negative from Brady’s National Portrait Gallery, and so stated on the reverse. Signed in black ink in the lower border under his portrait, “W. S.
