Scarce partial DS, one page, 13.75 x 8, December 12, 1839. Partial land grant issued to Gidian Freeman by then Tennessee Governor Polk. Signed at the conclusion by Polk and countersigned by his Secretary of State. In very good condition, with partial separations and small holes along fragile folds, scattered toning and soiling and a few small tape repairs to edge.
