Spencer Tracy’s first feature-length film contract?

DS, sixteen pages, 8.5 x 11, May 6, 1930, in its original, brown Fox Film Corporation folder. Agreement between Fox Films and Tracy, employing “the artist to render his services exclusively to the producer for a period of six weeks for the sum of $600 per week…” then, “For a period of six months, if the option is exercised, the producer guarantees to employ the artist for a period on not less than 20 weeks, at a compensation of $750 per week…” and so on. The employer also agrees to furnish transportation, wardrobe, etc. Boldly signed “Spencer Tracy” on page 15 with a notary seal and notarization on the following page. In fine condition, with expected edge toning. Tracy made four films in 1930. Up the River (The feature film debut for both Humphrey Bogart and Spencer Tracy), The Hard Guy, Taxi Talks and The Strong Arm. COA PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
