Outstanding 7.75 x 9.75 Bob Gruen photo of Lennon and Ono posing out doors in their overcoats in early 1973, signed in black felt tip, “John Lennon,” and “Yoko Ono,” with Ono signing above her husband’s signature. Photo is stamped on reverse, “Photo by Bob Gruen,” and his then current address. Bob Gruen is one of the most well known and respected photographers in Rock and Roll today. By the mid ‘70s he was already regarded as one of the foremost documenters of the scene working with major attractions such as John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Kiss, etc. Gruen also covered emerging New Wave and Punk bands including The New York Dolls, Patti Smith, Clash, Sex Pistols, Ramones & Blondie. Bob’s photos have been shown all over the world in exhibitions and several publications. Among the most famous are his shot's of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, who dates the signatures from early 1973.
