One-of-a-kind TLS, signed “Ringo” with his customary drawn star surname, one page, 8.5 x 11, RoccaBella, Inc. letterhead, February 25, 1993. Ringo sends thanks to NASA astronaut James D. Wetherbee. In full: “You can’t imagine what a thrill it was for me to get a copy of my record, Time Takes Time, from outer space, taken up there in your very capable hands. Just a note to thank you. Also, thanks for the photos.” Wetherbee flew on six space flights from 1990 to 2002. He likely carried Ringo’s record into orbit aboard the shuttle Columbia during mission STS-52 (October 22–November 1, 1992).
