Very nice sepia glossy 5.5 x 3.5 postcard photo, by Chalmers of Rutland, showing Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone, Calvin Coolidge, Henry Ford and Grace Coolidge. Firestone appears to be signing the lid of a barrel, while Ford and Coolidge look on, and Edison is engaged in conversation with Grace Coolidge. Signed on the reverse in fountain pen, “Thos A. Edison,” “Henry Ford,” and “Harvey S. Firestone.” It was the custom of these men to retire to the country on an annual two-week camping trip accompanied by their wives and children. These trips were highly publicized and were eventually immortalized in a Broadway play entitled Tom and Henry. A few scattered surface marks and creases, small captions affixed to reverse and image a touch light, otherwise fine condition. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
