Mary Pickford corrrespondence archive: “I am just now enjoying the serenity and beauty of Pickfair—a luxury which my busy career never permitted”

Lot of correspondence, mostly to Lucita Williams, who worked in the film industry in the silent era and who was the wife of renowned author and Soviet scholar Albert Rhys Williams. Included: five TLS on personal letterhead, most signed “Mary,” 1953–1972, sending thanks and personal news. Also included: TLS signed “Buddy” [Rogers]; TLS from Pickford’s secretary; unsigned telegram from Pickford; unsigned vintage photo of Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, and others in Russia; and some related clippings. In fine condition, with usual mailing folds and a few pencil notations to letters and bends; trimming to photo; and usual toning and handling wear to telegram and clippings. R&R COA.
