Lawman best remembered as the killer of notorious gunfighter Billy the Kid on July 14, 1881. Ironically, Garrett and Bonney had once been friends before they ended up on opposite sides of the law. Kiss our babies for me.” The pencil Garrett used was not sharp, but the content is still legible.
