Billy Haley and his Comets fused elements of country music, Western swing, and black R&B to produce some of rock and roll's earliest hits. Vintage glossy 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of Haley and three Comets in western wear, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Lynn from Bill Haley,” and also signed by Comets Bill Williamson, Johnny Grande and Marshall Sytle. Signed again on the reverse in fountain pen, “I am with you, Billy Williamson,” “So am I, Marshall Sytle,” “Me to, Bill Haley,” and “Lots of luck to Lynn, Johnny Grande.” In very good condition, with creasing and slight paper loss to top two corners of image, some separation of front and back of postcard, slight adhesion trouble to a couple of Comet signatures and some light toning to back of card.
