Mary of Teck (1867-1953), queen consort of the United Kingdom, the wife of George V of the United Kingdom and the mother of Edward VIII and George VI of the United Kingdom. Lovely early sepia 4.5 x 6.5 cabinet photo, signed “Mary 1892” in black ink. In very good condition, with scattered areas of trivial soiling, tiny bit of smudging to the signature, adhesive residue to the reverse from a previous mounting, very small area of surface loss along upper right edge.
