Lot of three items: Powell’s leather-bound copy of the 1952 Revised Standard Version of the Holy Bible, with her name stamped in gold on the cover and her bookplate affixed to the front free endpaper; and two vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photos (one showing Powell holding an Emmy statuette), both inscribed and signed “Ellie” in ballpoint. The consignor notes that the Bible is the one Powell used on her Emmy Award–winning Sunday morning television show, “The Faith of Our Children,“ which ran from 1953 to 1955.
