Whole Lotta Lindbergh!

Lot of five items includes: a TLS from Lindbergh dated July 6, 1943, on Ford Motor Company letterhead, with a subtitle Willow Run Bomber Plant, regarding a clipping sent to him with Phil Love’s photograph, taken at the start of the St. Louis-Chicago Air Mail in 1926, loosely matted with a Lindbergh Reception Ribbon, Aug. 15, 1927, to an overall size of 12 x 9.5; three envelopes flown by Lindbergh, two matted together to an overall size of 12 x 9.75, the other matted to an overall size of 12 x 5. During WWII, Henry Ford hired Charles Lindbergh as an aviation specialist at Ford's Willow Run Bomber Plant where Lindbergh helped engineers improve the design of the B-24 "Liberator" bomber. Accompanied by four letters attesting to the mailing of the envelopes and the ribbon’s authenticity. COA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
