Spitball specialist

Baseball HOFer, known for his spitballs and for his 41 1/3 innings in an eight-day span in 1908 in a futile attempt to bring the White Sox a pennant. Black and white Hall of Fame plaque card, 3.5 x 5.5, signed along the bottom in ballpoint, “Ed A. Walsh.” Matted with a biographical article, to an overall size of 9 x 17.5 In very good condition, with trimmed edges to card, light toning and soiling and small piece of tape over portion of last name.
