Empty box of Hurd’s Children’s notebook paper, 7.5 x 6, featuring artwork by Bogart’s mother Maud Humphrey, signed and inscribed on the top in blue ink, “For Weldon, Many thanks, Humphrey Bogart.” Humphrey Bogart’s mother and an artist who wrote and illustrated many fine childrens’ books, including Mother Goose, Children of the Revolution, Gallant Little Patriots, Golf Girl and others. Disney Consumer Products business card notes that box is inscribed for Weldon Melnick, an RKO titles man from the 1930s. In very good condition, with some edge separations and soiling to box and minor contrast to last name of signature. R&R COA.
