TLS signed “Audrey,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Hoyas Del Espino 5 letterhead, May 12, 1964. Letter to director Blake Edwards and then wife, Patricia. In part, “And now I have just received your letter, Blake, about MFL. You say you find it hard to express yourself; you manage to do so in such a way that no words have made me happier in a long time. I am deeply pleased at your reaction; it means a great deal to me. I know how terribly busy you are with The Great Race…How I wish I were doing the picture with you…You have a marvelous cast and I know you must be very happy to finally be off and running on this your very own project.” In fine condition, with expected folds and “Hepburn” filing notation written in another hand.
