Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Rubin, describing how the signature was obtained, “My mother was on a cruise and was stopping in Havana, Cuba. She noticed a man standing in the main square and thought he looked like an American. She slowly approached him and said, ‘Pardon me, but are you Ernest Hemingway?’ He replied yes.” In fine condition, with a bisecting vertical fold and a couple of trivial wrinkles.
