Ben-Gurion’s Itinerary

One of the most influential leaders of Zionism, David Ben-Gurion declared Israel an independent state in 1948 and served as the first Prime Minister and Defense Minister. ALS in English, signed “D. Ben-Gurion,” one page, 5 x 8, lightly lined notebook paper letterhead, September 16, 1968. A letter to Philip Sporn (Sporn pioneered in development of advanced energy technology and successfully exploited that technology for the purpose of making a more efficient and beneficial supply of electric energy available), In part: “I may have to be between October and November in France a few days - I don’t know yet the exact date, if I will be here on your arrival - I will meet you at the [?] Hotel.” In very good condition, with scattered faint toning, a horizontal fold touching a couple letters of the signature, a date stamp at upper left and a chip to the right edge, affecting nothing.
