One of the Hall of Fame's five original inductees in 1936, Honus Wagner combined rare offensive and defensive excellence throughout a 21-year career. Also was the first baseball player to have his signature branded into a Louisville Slugger baseball bat. Handwritten envelope, 9 x 6, signed in the return address area, adding his address underneath. Cancellation stamp dates the envelope to 1951. In very good condition, with scattered creasing, edge toning, and the first name of the signature appears slightly faded.
