Our Gang star best remembered for his wide-eyed double takes, and pigtails that would stand on end when he was “ascared.” He appeared in 93 Our Gang comedies over a ten year period. He dropped out of show business after his contract expired, and went on to work as a film technician for Technicolor. Ultra-rare vintage sepia matte-finish 5 x 7 photo, signed “Buckwheat” (as a child!) above his hat. Signature is just a little light, but perfectly readable. In fine condition, with traces of faint silvering to dark areas, an unobtrusive crease in upper right touching his name, and small creases to upper and lower left corners. Signed photos of Buckwheat are almost nonexistent and it is doubtful you will ever find another. This is a gem! R&R COA.
