TLS signed “Ted,” one page, 5.25 x 7.25, Edward M. Kennedy, United States Senate with an gold-embossed eagle at top center letterhead, January 26, 1988. A letter to Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. In part: “Dear Pat: For your cartoon gallery - - in case you haven’t seen the one in Sunday’s Globe. Also, I’m enclosing yesterday’s order by the court - - in their rush to judgment, the Reagan judges didn’t quite grasp the facts!” He has crossed out the typed “Sincerely,” and written “As ever,” in his own hand. Accompanied by the original cartoon. In fine condition, with an office stamp in the the left border, and a couple of ink and pencil office notations. R&R COA.
