Rare presidential check, 8.25 x 3.5, filled out in type and endorsed by Roosevelt, payable to Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States for $312.50, February 28, 1935. Check is mounted and framed to a hinged frame measuring 11.5 x 7, which is in turn affixed to a double matted and framed, signed engraved portrait of Roosevelt and a small plaque, to an overall size of 23.5 x 20.5. Pencil mark to front of check, bisecting vertical fold, cancellation holes to edge and a bold endorsement, otherwise fine condition. Presidential paychecks seldom appear on the market.
