Accompanied by an ALS from Charles Francis Adams, dated December 15, 1853, reading “I find no autograph signature of Mr. Jefferson, but the enclosed memorandum is his handwriting, to which you are welcome.” In fine condition, with some light folds to Jefferson’s sheet.
