DS, 8.5 x 11, April 5, 1961, 1 page with at least another 100 pages of related materials. The agreement between Paramount Pictures Corporation and John Ford Productions for Ford’s services on the film The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, a film in which a senator, who became famous for killing a notorious outlaw, returns to a funeral of a homeless man and tells the truth about his deed. The film was directed by John Ford and starred John Wayne, James Stewart and Lee Marvin. The related unsigned documents detail compensation, distribution, financing, a Pledge and Surety Agreement, an Assignment of Copyright and much more, including ledge pages cost adjustments. In fine condition, with usual file and staple holes, light staining to the left edges of a few of the pages and to the binder. R&R COA.
