This artifact, approximately 2 x .25 and composed of two words, is a genuine excerpt from an original document handwritten by George Washington. It is attractively shadow-box double-matted in suede with a color 6 x 9.5 full-length portrait of the first President, a reproduction of the original document from which the excerpt was taken and an explanatory plaque to an overall size of 20 x 16.
