Creator of Popeye. Original three panel hand inked daily comic strip, dated July 30, 1964, on a 19 x 6 piece of artist's cardstock. Strip shows Olive's amazement at Popeye's young friend's diet. Signed in ink in the last panel by Sagendorf, and signed and inscribed in the lower border 'Best wishes to V. J. Nunes from Popeye and Bud Sagendorf.' A bisecting vertical fold and some colored pencil notations and lines, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
