In 1774, by this time partisan in revolutionary politics, he again came to Georgia and earned the unflattering attention of the Royal Governor, James Wright. He also secured election to the Continental Congress, where he was involved in provisioning food and medicine for the Revolutionary Armies. Very rare DS, one page both sides, 7.5 x 12, March 13, 1783. A two line receipt at the top of the reverse of a bond from Samuel Stick to the Governor of Georgia. Bond is dated June 13, 1782 and is for 2160 pounds. Hall signs a receipt for 452.16.9. Following Hall's signature are a series of signed receipts signed by either the Governor's Private Secretary or the Treasurer. In very good condition, with even overall toning, several repairs to horizontal folds, area of staining to right side below Hall's signature, scattered edge wear and a nice full signature.
