Knights Cross with Diamonds recipient while Commanding General of the 1st SS-Panzer Korps. DS, one page, 8.5 x 12, July 23, 1943. Military document in German. Vorschlag recommendation is for a German Cross in Gold for Oak Leaf holder Rudolf Lehmann. Lehmann was awarded the medal and went on to command the infamous 2nd SS 'Das Reich' Division which ran amok in France just following D-Day.
