?I would like very much to have the opportunity of meeting Mrs. Crozier and phoned your office when I was last in Washington in the hope that she might be well enough to let me call that evening (I was involved in an Air Force conference, at the Pentagon

TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, December 28, 1954. Great content as Lindbergh mentions an Air Force conference held in Washington. In part: 'Dear Colonel Cod, ...I would like very much to have the opportunity of meeting Mrs. Crozier and phoned your office when I was last in Washington in the hope that she might be well enough to let me call that evening (I was involved in an Air Force conference, at the Pentagon from nine o'clock on through the entire day)...I gathered that afternoon would have been the best time for a call...which the conference I was attended prevented. I had to return to New York that night. I'll phone when I am next in Washington, in the hope that we can arrange a time that will be convenient for both you and for her.' In fine condition, with a receipt stamp on the back showing through behind the extremely bold signature, and a hole to one corner and a rusty paper clip impression to the top edge both easily matted out.
