During his 21-year career as a second baseman (1896--1916), mostly with the Cleveland Indians, he posted a lifetime batting average of .339. In 1901, he batted .422, highest ever in a season in the American League. He was elected to baseball's Hall of Fame in 1937. Ink signature, 'Larry Lajoie,' on an off-white lined card.
