LS signed 'George R.,' one page, 8.25 x 11.5, January 9, 1781. Ornately written and flowery thanks to his royal cousin, Duke August Wilhelm, for his repeated expressions of support and assurance of his abiding friendship. George also adds, 'Most friendly cousin,' before his signature. Attached integral second page bears an embossed royal wafer seal and integral address leaf. In fine condition.
